The stock market will remain closed on Monday

The stock markets have decided to close on Monday, January 26th, in observance of Republic Day. There will be no trading on both the BSE and NSE on this day. After Monday's holiday, normal trading will resume on Tuesday, January 27th.

The stock market will remain closed on these occasions this year.

According to the NSE calendar, the stock markets will be closed on several occasions between January and December. The market will be closed on March 3rd for Holi. Trading will then be suspended on March 26th for Sri Rama Navami and March 31st for Sri Mahavir Jayanti.

The market will be closed on Good Friday on April 3rd. Trading will also be suspended on April 14th for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, May 1st for Maharashtra Day, and May 28th for Bakrid. Furthermore, there will be no trading on the NSE on June 26th for Muharram.

Holidays falling in the second half of the year
