"Hum Hain Shahenshah Kaun" is produced by actress Reena Roy's brother, Raja Roy. According to ETimes, Raja Roy completed shooting the film 37 years ago and left midway to go to London. Several attempts were made to complete the film, but one obstacle or another arose. First, Raja Roy's son died suddenly, and then the film's director, Harmesh Malhotra, also passed away. Due to the tumultuous times, the film was left in limbo.
