News Topical, Digital Desk : Actor Sanjay Dutt 's name is constantly making headlines for his role in the film Dhurandhar 2. His portrayal of SP Chaudhary Aslam in this movie has been widely praised. Sanju Baba has been active in the film industry since the 1980s.

But did you know that Sanjay Dutt also had a film that was announced with great fanfare but never released in theaters? Let's find out which film we're talking about here.

Sanjay Dutt's film was not released.

Following the immense success of the 1991 film Sadak, Sanjay Dutt considered working with director Mahesh Bhatt again. Everything went according to plan, and in 1992, Mahesh announced a new film, starring Sanjay and several other stars. The film was titled Triumph Travel, a science fiction film.

In the 1990s, Mahesh Bhatt took on the huge risk of making a science fiction film and cast Sanjay Dutt in it. However, his hopes were dashed when Time Travel was shelved and never released in theaters. The film was announced with grand fanfare and a release date was finalized in 1993.

The primary reason for Mahesh Bhatt's time travel being halted was Sanjay Dutt's involvement in the 1993 Bombay bombings. He was accused of possessing illegal weapons during that time, and the superstar found himself embroiled in legal trouble. Sanjay's connections with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel also exacerbated his troubles.

The cast of Time Travel

Time Travel was produced by director Mahesh Bhatt and producer Bobby Bedi. Besides Sanjay Dutt, the cast included stars like Arbaaz Khan, Atul Agnihotri, Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Anupam Kher. Thus, Sanjay's time travel film never received justice in the cinematic world.
