Now, Mandhana's childhood friend, Vidyan Mane, has made several shocking revelations regarding this highly controversial marriage. According to Mane, Palash cheated on Smriti, and she caught him red-handed with another woman.
Smriti's childhood friend revealed
Smiti's friend told Hindustan Times, “I was present at the wedding (November 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed in bed with another woman. It was a horrific scene; Indian women cricketers beat him up badly. The entire family is thieves. I thought he would get married and settle in Sangli, but it all backfired on me.”
According to Mane, he is a childhood friend of Smriti and was introduced to Palash by the Mandhana family. He has also accused Muchhal of defrauding him of over ₹40 lakh and filed a complaint in Sangli.

Speaking about his complaint, Mane said, "When I met his mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she told me the film's release budget had increased to ₹1.5 crore. She asked me to invest ₹10 lakh more, or I wouldn't get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatening to remove me from the film, so I had to file a complaint." According to Mane, he has all the evidence against Palash and is ready to share it with the police and the media to expose the truth about the Muchhal family.
