Zelensky has again offered to meet Putin

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again proposed to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and hold talks to end the war.

 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this

"There is no reason to expect any progress that falls into the category of miracles. In the current situation this is not possible. We intend to ensure our interests and fulfill the tasks that we set for ourselves from the very beginning," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that Kiev has sent a proposal to Moscow for another round of peace talks in Turkey this week. He wants to speed up negotiations for a ceasefire.

 

Russia bombed Ukrainian cities, one child died

Meanwhile, Russian forces bombed four cities in Ukraine on Monday night, killing a child and injuring 41 people. Russian forces carried out this attack with drones and glide bombs.
