Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. The Prime Minister stressed that it is due to his inspiration that the country is today striving towards realising the dream of social justice. In a post on the x handle, PM Modi said that on behalf of all the countrymen, crores of salutations to Bharat Ratna Pujya Babasaheb on his birth anniversary. 

PM Modi said that it is due to his (Ambedkar's) inspiration that the country is today dedicatedly engaged in realising the dream of social justice. His principles and ideals will give strength and momentum to the creation of a self-reliant and developed India.

Mallikarjun Kharge said these things by tweeting

Apart from PM Modi, many leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav have paid tribute to Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Kharge tweeted that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar gave us the Constitution of India based on the democratic values ​​of justice, freedom, equality and fraternity, which is the most powerful tool for social justice and inclusive development. He described inclusiveness as his ultimate duty for the progress and unity of the country and strongly emphasized on protecting the rights of all.  Akhilesh Yadav paid tribute to Baba Saheb

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted and paid tribute to Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. Akhilesh said that for the establishment of the 'rule of social justice', by strengthening the feeling of 'self-respect', unite and give new strength to the PDA's movement to save Babasaheb's gift and heritage 'Constitution and Reservation' and repeat that 'Constitution is the life-giver' and 'Constitution is the shield' and also that as long as the Constitution remains safe, our honour, respect, self-respect and rights will remain safe. Only the unity of PDA will save the Constitution and reservation, only the unity of PDA will create a golden future.
