This is the first time in the last 57 years that bilateral talks will take place between India and Argentina. This is PM Modi's second visit to Argentina as Prime Minister. Earlier, PM Modi had visited Argentina in 2018 to attend the G-20 summit.

First bilateral visit in 57 years
In 1968, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi visited Argentina for the first time. During this time bilateral talks were seen between the two countries. At the same time, PM Modi went to Argentina in 2018, but only to participate in the G-20 Summit. However, this time PM Modi will meet Argentine President Milley.
