The Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka shared these photos on social media, where everyone noticed the expiration date. The incident spread like wildfire online, and Pakistan is now being widely ridiculed.
Sharing a photo of the relief material, the Pakistan High Commission wrote, "Relief supplies from Pakistan have been delivered to our brothers and sisters affected by the floods in Sri Lanka." Upon seeing these photos, users noticed the expiry date, which read ‘October 2024.’

Reacting to the Pakistan High Commission's post, a user wrote, "Instead of throwing the garbage in the dustbin, Pakistan has sent its expired food to flood-hit Sri Lanka."
