Akshay Kumar could not tolerate his friend's insult.

Akshay Kumar has recalled an incident in his life that scared him and made him fear his career might be over. He slapped a man at a party who was abusing his friend. He explained:

He swore once, and I told him not to. He did it again. Then a third time. I warned him four or five times, but he wouldn't stop. It was actually very personal. Someone used very foul language against my friend. Unable to tolerate the repeated insults, I got involved.

Akshay Kumar started regretting it

The fight escalated to the point where Akshay Kumar slapped the abusive man so hard that he fell unconscious. This frightened Akshay. The actor further said about this:

It was a huge party. My friend started crying because it was so embarrassing for him. We poured water on him, and I prayed that he would regain consciousness. Oh, God. He did.

Akshay Kumar said that he has never reacted like that since that incident. If he could change that moment, he probably would.
