What is Rajinikanth's fee for Thalaivar?
According to recent reports, the fee Rajinikanth is charging for Kamal Haasan's new film is comparable to the budgets of blockbuster films Dhurandhar (reportedly ₹250 crore) and Animal (reportedly ₹200 crore). According to Pinkvilla, Rajinikanth's fee for "Thalaivar 174" is ₹225 crore. This amount includes both upfront payment and profit share.
He has also taken huge fees for these films.
Charging a fee of ₹200 crore is nothing new for Rajinikanth. It's said that the actor charged around ₹210 crore for the 2023 film Jailer, and ₹200 crore for the 2025 film Coolie.
