With the formation of a new government in Bangladesh, speculation has begun regarding Muhammad Yunus' new role. There is talk on social media that he will continue to hold a constitutional position in the political system.

Will Muhammad Yunus become president?

Tariq Rahman's advisor Humayun Kabir told NDTV, 'Tariq Rahman believes that the best minds of the country should be included in the government.'

Kabir said Rahman has not finalised any role for anyone, including Professor Muhammad Yunus, but he wants to seek advice from capable people to help shape the country's future.

Humayun Kabir said, "There has been no discussion on a specific role. Tariq Rahman is interested in an inclusive government and wants to utilize all the talents he possesses if he is elected."

Talks with Professor Yunus possible

Kabir further said, 'Your expertise, your experience, your special international status can be used for the country in many ways.'

Humayun Kabir further said, ' Rahman has not decided on any specific role, but after the elections, at some convenient time, he wants to take advice from some well-known citizens of the country and under this, it is common to have a conversation with Professor Yunus.'

Kabir added, "Nothing is impossible in politics. Tariq Rahman will make decisions that will move the country forward and put it in a good position both domestically and internationally. Therefore, he is willing to field his best players."
