This actor is Prashant Narayanan, who played the villain in Murder 2. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor criticized Kartik's acting skills. He said:
I think he's one of the worst actors, but he's a very lucky guy. He's only surviving on the blessings of his parents. I think he's very uncommunicative and gets a boost from those around him. I liked him in his first film (Pyaar Ka Punchnama).

When Prashant Narayanan was asked why people like Kartik Aaryan's films and go to theaters to watch them, the actor said that people laugh at him, not at his films.
I don't know how many people are praising him, but I've noticed that people laugh at him. So if you can make people laugh, that's a great thing. There's a difference between laughing with someone and laughing at someone. Indian audiences are mostly laughing at someone.
