Amaravati: YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday called upon people to participate in prayers at temples across the state on September 28 to atone for the sin of Chief Minister N Chandrababu over the Tirupati laddus.

Let us tell you that just a few days ago, Naidu had alleged in the NDA Legislature Party meeting that the previous YSRCP government did not even spare the Sri Venkateswara Temple and used substandard material and animal fat to make laddus.

FIR against the firm that supplied ghee in the case of adulterated laddus at Tirupati temple

Amid the controversy over the use of animal fat in the Tirupati temple's laddu prasadam, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has officially filed a police complaint against AR Dairy Foods, the firm for supplying adulterated ghee. A senior TTD official confirmed that the case has been registered at the Tirupati East police station by Procurement General Manager Murali Krishna.

According to Tirupati district Superintendent of Police L Subbarayudu, the TTD official has complained that AR Dairy has violated the rules of the temple by supplying adulterated ghee. The sentiments of the devotees have been hurt. He said that a case has been registered under several sections.

Let us tell you that animal fat was found in four samples of the ghee used to prepare the prasad of Tirumala temple. On the other hand, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has formed an SIT under the leadership of IPS Sarveshwar Tripathi to investigate the laddu adulteration case.
