New Delhi: Within just eight days of starting the BJP membership drive, the party's membership count has crossed two crore. Party general secretary Vinod Tawde said that on September 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the BJP's national membership drive by becoming the party's first member.
He said that on Tuesday, party president JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and organization minister BL Santosh reviewed the membership campaign by holding separate meetings with nine states at the party's central office.
State presidents, general secretaries, membership heads and membership team officials of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan participated in these meetings.
BJP adopted this strategy
In the meeting, it was also discussed how to run it in a better way. In the coming days, similar discussions will be held with other states as well. Let us tell you that from MPs to Sarpanch, every representative of BJP has been given a target under the membership campaign.
