News Topical, Digital Desk : A minor altercation between children in Malegaon, Nashik district, Maharashtra, escalated into a bloody conflict overnight. Due to an old rivalry, one man fired two pistols at another, but missed. The attackers vandalized the house, damaged several vehicles, and beat the victim. However, the police have since detained the main accused.

The incident occurred in the Nawa Islampur area around 10:15 pm on Saturday night. An officer from the Ayeshanagar police station said Laik Ahmed Mohammad Kamil (42) complained that Mehtab Ali Shaukat Ali, enraged by a fight between his children, vandalized his house with a group of 10-12 people.

Allegations of shooting and assault

Mehtab Ali is accused of firing two rounds from two pistols at Laiq Ahmed. Laiq ducked in time to save his life, but the attackers then brutally beat him. The victim's four-wheeler and two-wheeler were also damaged. Laiq claims that his mobile phone and 50,000 rupees were lost in the assault.

According to the police, Laiq and Mehtab had fought several times before. This time, a quarrel between the children added fuel to the fire. The entire area was filled with chaos from 10:30 pm to 11 pm.

What action did the police take?

Ayeshanagar police have arrested Mehtab Ali. The search for the remaining 10-12 accused is ongoing. A heavy police force has been deployed to maintain law and order in the area. Senior officers were present at the scene overnight and on Sunday morning. A thorough investigation is underway.

Giving information about the incident, the officer of Ayeshanagar police station said, "Ali has been taken into custody, while the search for others involved in the mob is on. A heavy police force has been deployed in the area to ensure that there is no law and order problem. Senior police officers visited the spot last night and this morning. Further investigation into the incident is underway."
