News Topical, Digital Desk : The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has released the sales figures for August 2025. The company has said in the information given to the exchange that the total sales of the company in August stood at 1.81 lakh units, while according to the CNBC-TV18 poll, the estimate was 1.84 lakh units. The total sales of the company have declined by 0.60 percent on an annual basis (YoY). This figure was 1.82 lakh units in August 2024.
The maximum pressure was seen in domestic sales. Maruti's domestic sales stood at 1.44 lakh units in August 2025, which is a decline of 7.1 percent compared to 1.55 lakh units last year. At the same time, the company performed brilliantly on the export front. In August 2025, Maruti Suzuki exported 36,538 units, which is 40.5 percent more than 26,003 units last year. Share performance The company's stock was trading at Rs 14,891 on Monday with a gain of 0.64 percent. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a gain of 19.82 percent.
