News Topical, Digital Desk : A 29-year-old woman in Hyderabad allegedly killed her two sons and then committed suicide. The incident occurred on Tuesday. Police suspect a long-standing family dispute may have been the reason for her extreme step. The deceased have been identified as S. Banoth Sravanthi (29), Karthik (12), and Kaushik (10).
They got married 13 years ago
According to the police, Shravanti married Boda Praveen about 13 years ago. Praveen had also married another woman. Praveen and Shravanti often quarreled over this. Police further stated that due to the frequent conflicts, Shravanti recently left home and moved to her parents' home in Warangal with her children. It is reported that family members intervened and convinced her to return to Hyderabad with Praveen.
All three were found dead in the house
Balanagar ACP P. Naresh Reddy said, "When Praveen returned home from work around 1:30 pm on Tuesday, he found the main door locked from inside. He repeatedly knocked on the door but received no response. He then broke the door down with the help of neighbors." Shravanti and her two children were found dead inside the house. Police arrived at the scene around 2:30 pm.
DCP said – a case will be registered against the husband
Meanwhile, Kukatpally DCP Reeti Raj stated that a case of abetment to suicide will be filed against Praveen under Section 108 of the IPC. The investigation will focus on domestic disputes and the circumstances that led the woman to take this extreme step.
