Q2 Results Today

Bharti Airtel, Titan Company, Tata Consumer Products, Power Grid Corporation of India, ACME Solar Holdings, Ajanta Pharma, Ambuja Cements, Bharti Hexacom, City Union Bank, Glenmark Pharma, JK Paper, Hitachi Energy India, Stove Kraft, TBO Tech, Timken India, Websol Energy Systems, Westlife Foodworld and Wockhardt will release their quarterly results today.

BPCL - The company's profit in the second quarter increased by 169.5% to ₹6,191.5 crore, compared to ₹2,297.2 crore previously. Revenue increased by 2.1% to ₹1,04,946.3 crore, compared to ₹1,02,785.3 crore previously.

Bank of Baroda – Profit fell 8.2% to ₹4,809.4 crore, compared to ₹5,237.9 crore previously. Net interest income rose 2.7% to ₹11,953.6 crore, compared to ₹11,637.2 crore previously.

Godrej Consumer Products - Profit fell 6.5% to ₹459.3 crore, compared to ₹491.3 crore previously. Revenue rose 4.3% to ₹3,825.1 crore, compared to ₹3,666.3 crore previously.

Tata Chemicals - Profit fell 60.3% to ₹77 crore, compared to ₹194 crore previously. Revenue fell 3% to ₹3,877 crore, compared to ₹3,999 crore previously.

JK Cement - The company's quarterly profit rose 27.6% to ₹160.5 crore, compared to ₹125.8 crore previously. Revenue increased 18% to ₹3,019.2 crore, compared to ₹2,560.1 crore previously.

SBFC Finance - Profit rose 30% to ₹109.1 crore (approximately $1.09 billion), compared to ₹84 crore (approximately $8.4 billion). Revenue rose 32% to ₹281.8 crore (approximately $2.13 billion), compared to ₹213.5 crore (approximately $2.13 billion).

Mahindra Lifespace Developers - Its profit was ₹47.9 crore, compared to a loss of ₹14.02 crore in the previous year. Revenue increased 130.7% to ₹17.56 crore, compared to ₹7.6 crore in the previous year.

Patanjali Foods - Patanjali Foods reported a 67.4% increase in profit to ₹516.7 crore (approximately $1.8 billion) compared to ₹308.6 crore (approximately $3.08 billion). Revenue rose 21% to ₹9,798.8 crore (approximately $8.1 billion) compared to ₹8,101.6 crore (approximately $8.1 billion).

Maruti Suzuki India - The company's total October sales increased 7% to 2.2 lakh units, compared to 2.06 lakh units in the previous year. Domestic sales increased 9.4% to 1.89 lakh units, compared to 1.73 lakh units in the previous year.

Hyundai Motor India - Hyundai Creta and Venue together achieved the second highest ever monthly sales of 30,119 units.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles - Domestic passenger vehicle sales increased by 27% to 61,134 units compared to 48,131 units previously. Total passenger vehicle sales (including EVs) increased by 26.6% to 61,295 units compared to 48,423 units previously.

Titagarh Rail Systems - Titagarh Rail has received a contract worth Rs 2,481 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Mumbai Metro Line 5.

CE Info Systems - Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mappls MapmyIndia to integrate DMRC's API into the Mappls app.

RailTel Corporation of India - The company has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Rajasthan Council of School Education for services worth Rs 32.43 crore.

NCC - The company received four more orders worth ₹710 crore in October. Of these, ₹590.9 crore was for the Buildings division and ₹119.1 crore for the Transportation division. These orders are in addition to a larger order worth ₹6,828.94 crore received on October 25th.

NTPC Green Energy - A subsidiary of NTPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CtrlS Datacenters to develop renewable energy projects of 2 GW or more capacity.

Gujarat Gas - Pankaj Joshi has resigned as director and chairman of the company due to superannuation, effective November 1. The board has appointed Manoj Kumar Das as additional director and chairman, effective November 2.

Hindustan Unilever - The FMCG company has received an assessment order from the Income Tax Department, along with a demand notice of Rs 1,986.25 crore for FY 2020-21.
