News Topical, Digital Desk : HDFC AMC Q2 Results: HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) released its results for the second quarter of the financial year 2026 on October 15. The company's profit has increased by 24 percent year-on-year. In the same quarter last year, the company's net profit was Rs 576.61 crore, which increased to Rs 718.43 crore. But on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the net profit was 3.9% lower than Rs 747.55 crore in the first quarter of FY26, while revenue increased by 6%. Along with the results, the company has given a big gift to the investors. It has announced to give one bonus share to the investors.

HDFC Asset Management's operating revenue stood at ₹1,027.40 crore in Q2 FY26, up 15.8% from ₹887.21 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. AUM grew 14% year-on-year and 2% quarter-on-quarter to ₹8,72,800 crore in Q2 FY26.

Declaration of bonus shares

In addition to its earnings performance, the AMC rewarded its shareholders by issuing bonus shares. HDFC AMC announced a 1:1 bonus issue. If you purchase the company's shares before the record date, you will receive one share for every one held. The record date for determining the eligibility of company members to receive HDFC AMC's bonus equity shares is Wednesday, November 26, 2025. This means you must acquire the shares before November 26.

For the quarter, HDFC AMC reported a total income of Rs 7,179 million and a profit after tax of Rs 5,717 million, with an operating margin of 35 basis points. HDFC AMC serves 26 million active accounts and has approximately 14.5 million unique investors, and its distribution network of over 103,000 partners covers approximately 98 percent of India's pin codes.
