News Topical, Digital Desk : After cracking down on illegal refugees in America, President Donald Trump is now eyeing Europe. He has advised European countries to stop immigration. Trump has also called it a "terrible invasion".

Speaking to the media at the Air Force Station in Scotland, Trump warned European countries, saying that there is an urgent need to stop this "terrible attack".

What did Trump say?

According to Trump, "You all must take action together on immigration. Otherwise, Europe will be destroyed. People from many countries are coming and settling in Europe. You have to stop this 'terrible invasion'."

Trump said-

Some people don't want to stop immigration. I can name them right now if I want. But I don't want to embarrass anyone. Rising immigration is destroying Europe.

Citing the US

Referring to the closure of the US-Mexico border, Trump said, "You know, after last month, no one can enter our country. We also released many illegal immigrants from the country."

 

How many immigrants in Europe?

According to a United Nations report in 2020, about 87 million (8 crore 70 lakh) international migrants live in Europe. Trump started cracking down on illegal immigrants since he took power in the US in January. Trump had sent many illegal immigrants back to their country.
