However, there are certain conditions, such as if a person is a non-resident, mentally unstable, or has been disqualified due to crime, corruption, or illegal actions, he will not get the right to vote. Commission is running SIR campaign in Bihar

Ahead of the 2025 assembly elections in Bihar , the Election Commission has launched a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign, which will run from June 25 to July 26. The aim of this campaign is to make the voter list error-free and remove illegal or fake voters. Counting forms are being distributed to about 7.89 crore voters in Bihar, which have to be submitted along with valid documents.
