
News Topical, Digital Desk : Bomb Threat To Jodhpur: Emails filled with bomb threats are not stopping in Rajasthan. After bomb threats to many other places in Rajasthan, now an email threatening to bomb the Jodhpur Collectorate premises was received at the Collector's office today.
After this, the District Collector informed the Police Command and Control Room. Police officers etc. reached there in a hurry. City MLA Atul Bhansali also reached there. Along with this, dog squad and bomb disposal squad were also called. The entire Collector complex was evacuated and a search operation was carried out. However, no suspicious object was found there.
District administration got relief in this regard
The district administration swung into action after receiving a mail threatening to blow up the collectorate on Wednesday morning. Senior officials of CISF, BSF and the district commissionerate police reached there. The entire collectorate premises were immediately evacuated and a search was conducted. The bomb squad and the dog squad conducted the search together.
However, no suspicious material has been found. This has given relief to the administration. This threatening mail was received at 11:15 am in the Collector's Office. Information about the bomb blast was given at 3:30 pm. DCP East Alok Srivastava also reached there.
Let us tell you that cases of bomb threats are being reported continuously in the state. On Tuesday itself, a mail threatening to blow up the Pali District Collector's complex was received. However, no suspicious material was found there either.
