Patna. Bihar Weather: There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in different districts of the state including the capital. People will get the support of monsoon on the occasion of Independence Day. However, this rain can create obstacles in various colourful programs.

Heavy rain expected in 5 districts of Bihar

According to the Meteorological Center Patna, a yellow alert was issued on Thursday for heavy rainfall in Gopalganj, Kaimur and Rohtas, East and West Champaran districts. There is no possibility of any significant change in temperature as the effect of rain will remain during the next five days. There is also a possibility of damage due to strong storm during this period.

On Wednesday too, there was heavy rain in many districts including Patna

On the other hand, on Wednesday evening, the weather remained normal in Patna and surrounding areas due to cloudy weather and light rain. During the last 24 hours, moderate rainfall was recorded in different parts of the state. The highest rainfall of 91.4 mm was recorded in East Champaran (Piparakothi). The maximum temperature of Patna was 33.6 degree Celsius while, the highest maximum temperature of 35.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Begusarai.

90.8 mm of rain was recorded in Dumri of Shivhar, 85.8 mm in Shivhar, 85.0 mm in Benibad of Darbhanga, 81.6 mm in Aurangabad, 70.4 mm in Chatiya of East Champaran, 65.4 mm in Sarmera of Nalanda, 63.2 mm in Kamtaul of Darbhanga, 57.2 mm in Forbesganj, 52.4 mm in Motihari, 52.0 mm in Nawada, 48.4 mm in Barauni, 45.6 mm in Bhagwanpur of Begusarai, 45.2 mm in Raghunathpur of Siwan.
