All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after MP Nishikant Dubey's comment against the Supreme Court. Owaisi said, 'You people (BJP) are tubelights. You are threatening the court in this way. Do you know what (Article) 142 (of the Constitution) is? It was made by Bhimrao Ambedkar.'

Threatening a religious war

Along with this, Owaisi said, 'BJP is cheating and threatening religious war. You people are in power and you have become so radical that you are threatening the court with a religious war.'

If not stopped, the country will become weak

Owaisi further said, 'Modi ji, if you do not stop these people, the country will become weak. The country will not forgive you and tomorrow you will not be in power.'

Supreme Court is responsible for inciting religious war- Dubey

Let us tell you that on Saturday, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused the Supreme Court of inciting a religious war in the country. BJP leader Dubey told ANI, 'The Supreme Court has only one objective 'Show me the face, I will show you the law'. The Supreme Court is going beyond its limits. If one has to go to the Supreme Court for everything, then Parliament and state assemblies should be closed.'

What else did Nishikant Dubey say against the Supreme Court?

Dubey, a BJP MP from Godda in Jharkhand, said, "Article 368 says Parliament has the right to make all laws and the Supreme Court has the right to interpret the law. The Supreme Court is asking the President and the Governor to tell them what they have to do with regard to the bills. When it comes to Ram Mandir or Krishna Janmabhoomi or Gyanvapi, you (SC) say 'show us the papers'. But when it comes to mosques built after the Mughals came, you say there are no documents to show."

BJP distanced itself from the statements of Dubey and Dinesh Sharma

The BJP distanced itself from Dubey's remarks and party president JP Nadda said, "The BJP has nothing to do with the comments made by MPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma on the judiciary and the Chief Justice. These are their personal comments but the BJP neither agrees with them nor has ever supported such comments. The BJP completely rejects these statements."
