After India, China has the second largest number of students coming to study in the US. More than 270,000 students were from China in the 2023-2024 academic session. Harvard should limit the number of foreign students to 15 percent: Trump

US President Donald Trump has asked Harvard University to limit the number of foreign students to 15 percent. He said on Wednesday that at present more than a quarter of Harvard's total students are foreigners. It should limit the number of international students to 15 percent. The Trump administration is continuously tightening its grip on Harvard. It has ordered the cancellation of contracts of federal agencies with Harvard. For this, research grants worth $ 2.6 billion have already been stopped.
