News Topical, Digital Desk : Kim Jong Un's ruling party in North Korea has completed 80 years of power. The celebrations were held with great fanfare yesterday. The ceremony included a military parade. Foreign guests from several countries were also given a grand welcome.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, “A grand military parade was held at Kim Il Sung Square on October 10 to mark the 80th anniversary of the Workers' Party.”

Ballistic missile performance

During this parade, North Korea displayed a number of dangerous weapons, including an intercontinental ballistic missile. High-ranking leaders from China, Russia, and Vietnam attended the event.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived in North Korea with a large delegation. Russia also sent its security adviser, Dmitry Medvedev, who is considered close to President Putin, to attend the event.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un also met with President Xi Jinping during his visit to China last year. Xi Jinping himself visited North Korea in 2019. Now, six years later, the Chinese Prime Minister has visited North Korea.

Putin sent a close friend

North Korea also has good relations with Russia. North Korea contributed a large number of troops to the Russian army during the Russo-Ukrainian War. Last week, Russia and North Korea issued a joint statement in which Russia declared its full support for North Korea.

There is speculation about a meeting with Trump.

US President Donald Trump also met with Kim Jong Un three times during his first term. There is speculation that Trump will meet with Kim again during his second term. However, there has been no formal statement from the White House on this matter.
