Anita Anand is an MP from Oakville, Ontario and she said that she will serve the people here till the next election.

Anita, the daughter of a Tamil father and a Punjabi mother, has held several ministries in Trudeau's cabinet. She has also held ministries like defense and public service. As defense minister, Anita even led global efforts to provide weapons to Ukraine against Russia.
