Sharing a video of the history of Vadnagar on the internet media, Prime Minister Modi wrote on Friday that the glorious history of Vadnagar in Gujarat is more than 2500 years old. Unique efforts have been made here to preserve and protect it.

 

History is seen in the video

This video gives glimpses of the history of Vadnagar. This museum, which covers 2500 years of history, is spread over 12,500 square meters. It is being described as the country's first archaeological experiential museum, more than five thousand ancient things will be seen. From pottery to pearl and shell jewelry, beautiful artifacts of Buddhism will be the pride of this museum. More than Rs 300 crore has been spent in building this museum. This will be the only museum in the country where things found from excavations will be displayed. This museum will be opened to all from February 2025 next month.

 

The museum was inaugurated by the Home Minister

Actually, last Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a special museum in Vadnagar. Apart from this museum which shows the 2500-year-old history of Vadnagar, Amit Shah has also inaugurated the Prerna Kendra. This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's school, where he completed his education from 9th to 11th.
