Tired of his wife's torture, the young man committed suicide, made a video before his death:

A shocking incident has come to light from Khordha district of Odisha. A young man committed suicide after being fed up with his wife's torture. Before dying, he recorded a video in which he clearly says, 'I am Ramchandra Badjena, my house is in Kumbharbast. I am committing suicide today because of my wife.' This video has also gone viral on social media. After recording the video, Ramchandra jumped in front of the train and died on the spot.

What is the matter?

According to the information of the incident, Ramchandra Badjena was married in Jankiya police station area. He also has a daughter. For the last few years, he was facing constant fights and harassment from his wife. Finally, when he broke down from all this, he took this big step. The body of the deceased youth was found on the Narangarh railway track, which comes under Jankiya police station area. Police and railway department reached the spot and took the body in their custody and started investigation. Later, the family members identified the body as Ramchandra.

Ramchandra's parents and family are shocked by his death. They went to Shilpanchal police station in Khordha and lodged a complaint alleging that his wife's harassment was the reason behind their son's suicide. The police registered a case and took a statement from the deceased's mother and started action under case number 85/25.

What did the father of the deceased say?

The deceased Ramchandra's father said, 'Ever since my son got married, my daughter-in-law would leave my son and go to her home for months. If my son did not take my daughter-in-law to her maternal home once a week, my daughter-in-law would misbehave with him. We were tolerating all this for a long time. We had borne all the expenses of the wedding and my daughter-in-law's family had borrowed Rs 20 lakh from us and spent it on the wedding.'

He told that the wedding hall was also booked in my son's name as it was a love marriage. Ramchandra had gone to Khordha with his wife Rupali and daughter. There he left his wife and daughter near Khordha court. When Rupali felt that Ramchandra did not return for a long time, she called him several times, but his phone was switched off. Some time later in the evening we came to know that Ramchandra had committed suicide on the Nijigarh-Tapang railway track. It had been 2 years since the marriage. My daughter-in-law, her mother, her father, brother and both sisters are responsible for my son's suicide. We want a thorough investigation of the incident and the culprits should be given the harshest punishment.

For now, the police have arrested Ramchandra's wife and further investigation is underway. The accused have been charged under sections 108, 351(2) and 3(5) of the IPC. Ramchandra's parents are deeply shocked and the entire family is in mourning.
