The Indian Army shot down the drones in the sky itself. Drones have been seen at 26 places on the international border and the Line of Control with Pakistan, from Baramulla in the north of India to Bhuj in the south. These include suspected armed drones posing a potential threat to civilian and military targets. These places include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet and Lakhi Nala.
Pakistani drones are being destroyed
Unfortunately, an armed drone targeted a civilian area in Ferozepur, resulting in serious injuries to members of a local family. The injured have been provided medical aid and the area has been sanitised by security forces.
The Indian Armed Forces are maintaining a high level of alertness, and all such aerial threats are being tracked and dealt with using counter-drone systems. The situation is being closely and continuously monitored, and prompt action is being taken wherever necessary.
