Operation Sindoor's director apologized
Uttam Maheshwari has apologized for the film Operation Sindoor on his Instagram account. He wrote in a long note, “I sincerely apologize for recently announcing a film based on Operation Sindoor, which is inspired by the recent heroic efforts of our Indian Armed Forces. My intention was never to hurt or provoke anyone's sentiments.”
I am not making films for money or fame
The director of Operation Sindoor further added, “As a filmmaker I was deeply moved by the courage, sacrifice and strength of our soldiers and leadership and simply wanted to bring this powerful story to light. This project was made out of deep respect and love for our country and not to earn fame or money. However, I understand that the timing and sensitivity may have hurt some people. I am deeply sorry for that.”
Expressed gratitude to PM Modi and military forces
Uttam Maheshwari concluded by saying, "It is not just a film but it is the sentiment of the entire nation and the social image of the country at the global level." He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces and wrote, "Our love and prayers will always be with the families of the martyrs as well as the brave warriors who are fighting day and night at the border to give us a new dawn."
