Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener also follows the strategy of propaganda and making false promises like the Prime Minister.

Rahul Gandhi also promised in his first public meeting for the Delhi assembly elections that caste census will be conducted if the Congress government is formed in the national capital. Rahul Gandhi challenged Kejriwal to increase the reservation limit and clarify his stand on the issue of caste census.

Rahul Gandhi spoke in Seelampur, Delhi

Both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are the components of the opposition alliance 'India'. In a public meeting held in Delhi's Seelampur area, the Congress leader also said that if there is violence against a person of any caste and religion, he will stand with that person.

Targeted BJP and RSS 

Rahul Gandhi alleged, "These days the people of BJP and RSS are engaged in destroying the Constitution. They spread hatred and make one brother fight with another brother, scare people." Rahul Gandhi claimed that Prime Minister Modi and the people of RSS are constantly attacking the Constitution. While targeting the former Chief Minister of Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said, "Did Kejriwal ever speak about Adani? He does not say a single word."

Targeted PM Modi regarding caste census 

Rahul Gandhi said, “The participation of backward classes in the system of the country is very less, while their population is 50 percent. When I talk about caste census, not a single word comes out of the mouth of Narendra Modi ji and Kejriwal ji. Both want that backward classes, Dalits, tribals and minorities do not get participation. They will give long speeches, Modi ji will do it and Kejriwal ji will do it too, but when it comes to giving participation, only Congress will do it.
