The market opened in the green on the expiry day of the November series amid mixed global signals. Nifty opened at 24292.50 with a gain of 17.60 points i.e. 0.07%. Nifty Bank opened at 52393.70 with a gain of 91.90 points i.e. 0.18%. Sensex today opened at 80279.33 with a gain of 45.25 points i.e. 0.06%.
During early trading on Thursday, Adani Enterprises, HDFC Life, Adani Ports, Coal India and ITC stocks topped the Nifty's list of fastest-growing stocks. During early trading, these stocks saw a rise of 0.6% to 2%.
At the same time, Eicher Motors, M&M, Infosys, Cipla and Bajaj Auto topped the list of weak stocks on Nifty. During early trading, these stocks showed weakness ranging from 0.64% to 1.2%.
