Power Grid informed after market close on Monday that the company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for inter-state transmission system in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan. The company said in an exchange filing, "Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has been declared the successful bidder for setting up the inter-state transmission system for the project named Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV (Part-4: 3.5 GW): Part A under tariff based competitive bidding.

The company said that the project includes setting up of 765/400kV sub-station at a suitable location near Ghiror (District Mainpuri) in Uttar Pradesh state, 765kV & 400kV transmission lines in the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, works on under construction and existing sub-stations in the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
