Sakat Chauth is one of the important festivals of Hindus. This festival is dedicated to the worship of Lord Ganesha. According to the Vedic calendar, the Chaturthi Tithi of Magh month will begin on January 17 at 04:06 am, while this Tithi will end on January 18 at 05:30 am. Considering the Udaya Tithi, the fasting day of Sakat Chauth will be observed on Friday, January 17, 2025. On this day, the moonrise (Sakat Chauth chandroday Time) will be at 09:09 pm.

On Sakat Chauth , donating sesame seeds, warm clothes, food grains, salt, jaggery, ghee, gold, silver, gems, clothes and money etc. is considered extremely auspicious.
