Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP MLA Bharat Shetty on Monday made a controversial statement saying that the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi should have been locked inside the Parliament and slapped for his anti-Hindu remarks. If he comes to Mangaluru city, we will arrange the same for him. The Leader of Opposition will be fine after a tight slap inside the Parliament.
He said that the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi had a picture of Lord Shiva in his hand. He does not know that if Lord Shiva opens his third eye, he will turn into ashes. He has adopted an anti-Hindu policy. This makes it clear that he is a mad man.
It is BJP's duty to protect Hinduism
He said that it is the duty of the BJP to protect Hindu religion and institutions. Congress has started saying that Hindu and Hindutva are different. Due to such leaders, Hindus will face serious danger in the future. They will create such a situation that Hindus will not be able to come out of their homes.
He alleged that the Leader of Opposition becomes an atheist in Tamil Nadu and a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva when he visits Gujarat. Shetti said that Rahul Gandhi is claiming to have achieved a big feat after getting only 99 seats in the general election. Shivaji and Maharana Pratap were Hindus. Whenever there is a need, we will take out weapons. We know very well how to retaliate after worshipping weapons.
