For a long time, there has been a lot of discussion about the OTT release of Sitare Zameen Par. Even before the release of the film, Aamir Khan had made it clear that no deal has been made with any popular digital platform for online streaming of the film and neither will it be seen on OTT in the future. But now Aamir Khan has announced today that his superhit theatrical film Sitare Zameen Par will be released online. 

According to the actor, Sitare Zameen Par will be released worldwide on his official channel Aamir Khan Talkies on YouTube from August 1, 2025. This is a bold and new step in which one of the most successful films of 2025 will be delivered directly to people's homes.

Apart from this, Sitare Zameen Par will be available only on YouTube and will not be released on any other digital platform. This film will be available in India for ₹ 100, while it will be available with local pricing in 38 countries including America, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Spain.

Leaving the big digital platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Jio Hotstar, Aamir Khan has started a new trend of releasing his film directly on YouTube. The simple meaning of his move is that everyone can enjoy his wonderful film. This heart-touching family drama stars Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh as well as 10 actors with intellectual disabilities. 

The film was successful at the box office

Aamir Khan's career was linked to the success of Sitare Zameen Par, in which the actor has now got complete success. The net collection of this movie at the domestic box office was around 160 crores, while worldwide this figure was more than 225 crores. Not only this, Sitare Zameen Par, which was made in a budget of 90 crores, has also earned huge profits.
