United Nations. Pakistan once again raised the Kashmir issue in the United Nations Security Council. India has slammed it for this. India said that this is Pakistan's habitual attempt to divert attention from serious crimes against children.
There was a strong reaction from India after Pakistan's envoy to the UN Munir Akram mentioned Jammu and Kashmir in the Council during an open debate on children and armed conflict.
Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh will always remain an inseparable part of India
India's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations R. Ravindra said, "As far as the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are concerned, they were, are and will always remain an integral and inseparable part of India." This was the second consecutive day when Munir raised the Kashmir issue in his remarks at the UN and India responded strongly.
