New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, UP, Assam and Delhi in connection with the activities of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. These raids are going on at a total of 22 places. According to the information, the NIA is also conducting raids in Malegaon city of Maharashtra. The raid is going on since late night at a doctor's homeopathy clinic in Abdullah Nagar on Mashriqi Iqbal Road in the city.

They said the searches were underway in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Delhi.

There was a raid in West Bengal on Tuesday
Earlier, recently, the NIA had raided several places in various districts of West Bengal. The NIA team conducted a thorough search of the residences of the suspects at 11 places in South 24 Parganas, Asansol, Howrah, Nadia and Kolkata districts of the state. The NIA said that the suspects were active workers of the CPI (Maoist) and are believed to have assisted the commanders of the organization in carrying out Naxalite activities.
The NIA said that several documents, electronic devices, pamphlets, magazines and handwritten letters were seized during the search. The NIA said that this case is related to the conspiracy of the Politburo, Central Committee members, activists and supporters of the banned organization.
