On Tuesday, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has sent a notice to ICICI Securities. This notice has been sent in the matter related to the delisting of the financial broking firm. Actually, the small shareholders of ICICI Securities have appealed against the tribunal's decision to approve the delisting. Accepting which, NCLAT has sent a notice. A bench of Justices Yogesh Khanna and Ajay Das Mehrotra is hearing an appeal filed by two small shareholders of the company, Manu Rishi Gupta and Quant Mutual Fund, which has been filed against the order of NCLT dated August 21. Manu Rishi has 0.002% and Quant MF has 0.08% shares.
NCLT had given approval in August
In this order of August, the Mumbai bench of NCLT dismissed the petition filed by small shareholders against the delisting of ICICI Securities and allowed the company to grow as per plan. In June 2023, ICICI Securities approved the plan to delist and merge with ICICI Bank. In March 2024, this plan got the approval of the shareholders. 72 percent of the small shareholders of the brokerage firm decided in favor of the plan. On June 29, the board of ICICI Bank approved the plan. How was the performance of the stock ICICI Securities stock closed at 885 with a gain of more than one percent on Tuesday. During trading, the stock had reached the level of 898. The highest level of the stock for the year has been 921. At the same time, the stock also reached a low of 606 during the year. At the same time, ICICI Bank's stock also saw a rise and the stock closed at 1280 with a gain of 0.56 percent. This was also the highest level of the session.
