Amavasya Tithi has its own importance in Hinduism. On this day people perform various types of worship rituals. According to the Panchang, this year Margashirsha Amavasya will be celebrated on 01 December. On this day, there is a ritual of worshiping and offering tarpan to ancestors. It is believed that those who perform tarpan for their ancestors along with bathing in the Ganges on this date, get rid of Pitra Dosh. In such a situation, definitely go to take a bath in the Ganges on this occasion (Margashirsha Amavasya 2024 Date). Offer Arghya to Lord Sun.

The dust of the feet is the ocean of liberation.

There is no salvation without debt to ancestors.

Your glory is all around,

First worship the Lord gives the order,

You yourself would open the door of fortune.

I would be satisfied with pure water only.

Your hymns are extremely beneficial,

All officers, big and small.

You worship with the rising sun,

Five finger water wooing.

Flags and banners are decorated on the stage,

You reside in the eternal flame.

Your age-old light,

Our land of birth is blessed.

Martyrs are worshipped here,

Conveying the message of motherly devotion.

Our principle is Jagat Pitaro,

Religion is not a slogan of caste.

Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian

Everyone worships their ancestors.

Our family tree is Hindu,

Dearer to us than life.

The Ganga of this desert,

The environment for offering prayers to ancestors is essential.

Brother, do not leave his feet,

It is due to his grace that I found refuge in God.

They organize Jagran on Chaudas,

We would pray on the new moon day.

All the castes celebrate Jadula,

Nandimukh got everyone performing Shraddha.

She is the flower of the blessed land of birth,

Who has received the dust of the ancestral circle.

Shri Pittar ji is a well-wisher of his devotees,

Whoever meditates day and night,

There is no other devotee like him.

You are the helper of the orphan,

You are always a help to the poor.

The four Vedas are witnesses of the Lord,

You saved the honor of your devotees.

Whoever takes your name,

There is no one as blessed as him.

who tramples at your feet daily,

Nine siddhis roll at your feet.

All your success is auspicious,

Whoever sacrifices himself for you.

Which brings attention to your feet,

So that salvation becomes certain.

Whoever sings your true hymns,

So you will definitely get all four fruits.

You are our Kuldev (family god),

You, Gurudev, are dearer than my life.

Whatever true hope is in your mind,

May he get the desired results.

Your glory and wisdom are great,

The remaining thousand mouths could not sing.

I am extremely poor, filthy and unhappy,

How should I pray to you?

Now, ancestors, please have mercy on the poor,

Please give me some of your devotional power.

Offer flowers of respect there, all work may be accomplished.

Our great ancestors are seated in Jhunjhunu Dham.
