New Delhi. It was being discussed for a long time that there could be a change in the prices of LPG cylinders from June 1. Something similar has happened today, where oil marketing companies have changed the prices of commercial cylinders.
The prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced across the country from Saturday, June 1, 2024. The price of this 19 kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 69.50 and these new prices have been implemented immediately.
Price reduced continuously for 3 months
This is not the first time that the prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced. Earlier on May 1, the price of 19 KG cylinder was reduced by Rs 19. In April also, its prices were reduced by Rs 30.50.
What is the new price?
- After the new change, the retail selling price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi from today has become Rs 1,676, which was earlier Rs 1745.50.
- If we talk about Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, the price of commercial LPG here has increased to Rs 1,787, which was earlier Rs 1859.
- The new price in Mumbai has become Rs 1,629, which was earlier Rs 1,698.50, while in Chennai its new price is Rs 1,840.50, which was earlier Rs 1,911.
What is the reason for this?
At present, no specific or exact reason has been revealed regarding this, but there can be many reasons behind this, which may include fluctuations in oil prices in the global market, changes in taxation policies and supply-demand dynamics.
