Heart Health: Laughter is considered the best medicine. The more you laugh in real life, the more your heart will be fit and healthy. This has come to light in a study. In which it has been said that laughing out loud is no less than a medicine. It cures major health problems in a jiffy.

In the report of this recent study, it was told that laughing reduces the risk of heart diseases to a great extent and keeps the heart healthy. Laughing heartily helps in improving the cardiovascular system, which improves the function of the heart.

what does research say

Researchers conducted a study on 26 people aged 64 years. These participants were divided into two groups. All the participants were patients of coronary artery disease. Research was conducted on them for 12 weeks. One group watched comedy shows for 12 weeks i.e. three months and the other group watched a serious documentary for the same period.

After this, it was found that the heart function of the patients watching the comedy show improved a lot due to their laughter. Their cardiovascular function increased by 10 percent as compared to those watching the documentary. The supply of oxygen in the body was also found to be higher in the group watching the comedy show.

what do researchers say

Prof. Saifi of Brazil's De Clinicas de Porto Alegri Hospital, who was a part of this research team, said that patients of coronary artery disease often come to hospitals. Inflammation and biomarkers are found in them. Plaque accumulates in their arteries, which can later cause heart attack or stroke.

In such a situation, if comedy shows are shown to the patients in hospitals and laughter therapy or other ways of staying happy are explained or used, then a lot of improvement will be seen. Because being happy or laughing openly is very good for the heart. Therefore, everyone should sit with the patient and talk to him about things that make him laugh openly or such things.
