
News Topical, Digital Desk : A law and order review meeting regarding Ganeshotsav was organized at Sahyadri Guest House. This meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The CM said that the state government has given the status of state festival to Ganeshotsav. Due to this, a comprehensive plan has been made by the state government to organize this festival. All the concessions given last year will continue this year as well. Law should be followed while celebrating the festival. Since the festival of Eid-e-Milad is also during Ganeshotsav, religious harmony should be maintained through coordination and special care should be taken to ensure that law and order is not disturbed anywhere. Positive action will be taken under the court to extend the days of permission given for loudspeakers.
Devotees should not face any kind of difficulty
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that in this year's public Ganeshotsav, public awareness should be spread about the power shown by India to the world through 'Operation Sindoor' and the use of indigenous goods. He appealed that the public Ganeshotsav Mandals should coordinate with the administration and celebrate this festival in a peaceful and enthusiastic atmosphere. He also expressed the expectation that the tableau based on ' Operation Sindoor ' should be dedicated to the soldiers. The Chief Minister also directed the administration to take necessary action so that the devotees do not face any kind of difficulty during Ganeshotsav.
' The number of boats on the beach should be increased '
The Chief Minister directed that like the public Ganeshotsav Mandals, the sculptors should also be given permission for five consecutive years and they should renew these permissions every year. The computer-based 'One Window Scheme' started by the Municipal Corporation should be availed for permission. The number of artificial ponds should be increased for immersion of Ganesh idols and the number of boats on the beach should also be increased for immersion of tall idols in the deep sea.

It was also decided in the meeting that while collecting property tax on the offices of public Ganeshotsav Mandals, if the Mandal gives in writing to the administration that these offices are not being used for commercial reasons, then property tax will not be imposed on such offices.
