News Topical, Digital Desk : After the appointment of the president, a major reshuffle was done in Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party. 47 new office bearers have been appointed in the state executive. Ravi Bhagat of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), who raised questions on Finance Minister OP Choudhary, has been removed. Rahul Yojraj has been made the state president in place of Bhagat. Vibha Awasthi has been made the state Mahila Morcha president. Santosh Pandey has been made the chief spokesperson and Hemant Panigrahi has been made the state media coordinator.

4 vice presidents, 3 general secretaries, 8 ministers, 4 organization secretaries included

In the expansion of the organization of Chhattisgarh, 4 vice presidents, 3 general secretaries, 8 ministers, 4 organization secretaries, 6 co-ministers and 22 members have been included. With the aim of increasing the participation of every front of the organization, 8 ministers have been given the responsibility of different fronts. According to the organization, the appointments have been made with the aim of strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party in Chhattisgarh and preparing for the upcoming elections.

Opposition to Finance Minister OP Choudhary proved costly for Bhagat

Amidst the organisational expansion in the state BJP, the biggest blow has been to the state president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Ravi Bhagat. Ravi Bhagat, who openly questioned the policies of Finance Minister OP Choudhary and posted a video on social media regarding DMF (District Mineral Fund), has been removed from his post. In his place, Rahul Yograj Tikriha has been appointed as the new state president of BJYM.

Show cause notice to Ravi Bhagat

BJP state president Kiran Singhdeo issued a show cause notice to Ravi Bhagat alleging that he spread propaganda against party leaders. The notice has directed him to respond within seven days, otherwise he may face expulsion from the party.

Ravi Bhagat has been active in BJP Yuva Morcha for a long time and is known as a combative and struggling leader. Recently, Bhagat had posted a video on social media demanding that DMF funds be spent on roads, drinking water and other development works in villages. Due to which Ravi Bhagat has been removed from the post.

Bhupesh Baghel targeted BJP

After the release of the list of the new executive committee of the state BJP, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has targeted the BJP by posting on social media account X. Bhupesh wrote that Ravi Bhagat had raised questions on the corruption happening from Adani to DMF and CSR. That is why action was taken against him. Bhupesh further wrote that a tribal leader has been given a message that whoever speaks against Adani's team will have to pay the price. Bhupesh further wrote that after snatching water, forest and land of the tribals, now BJP is snatching the leadership of the tribals.
