Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has reached All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) today. The Vice President and the Chairman of Rajya Sabha addressed the public during this time. He talked on many issues during this time. He also talked about the Kolkata murder case during this time. He said, when humanity is ashamed, there are some stray voices, voices that cause concern. He also said, they only increase our unbearable pain.

The Vice President further said, to put it another way, such incidents are rubbing salt on our wounds. This is a symptomatic malaise, a recurring phenomenon.

'There can be no excuse for demonisation'

The Vice President further said, when it comes from someone who is a Member of Parliament, a senior lawyer, the culpability is of the highest degree, there can be no excuse for such demonisation. I call upon such misguided souls to reconsider their views and tender a public apology.
