According to the Panchang, Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month will start on 11 December at 03:42 am and will end on 12 December at 01:09 am. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma. Hence, Gita Jayanti will be celebrated on 11 December.

 

Geeta Jayanti Puja Vidhi

On the day of Geeta Jayanti, wake up in the Brahma hour. At this time, first of all, bow to Lord Krishna. After this, start the day. Now after retiring from daily chores, take a bath with water containing Gangajal. At this time, purify yourself by sipping water and wear yellow clothes. After this, offer water to the Sun God. After that, worship Lord Krishna with Panchopchar rituals. At this time, do the 'Gita' recitation. At the end, do Aarti and pray to Lord Vishnu for happiness, prosperity and peace.
