Beijing. China, enraged by the US decision to allow the sale of arms to Taiwan, has imposed sanctions on some subsidiaries and officials of American company Lockheed Martin Corp.
China's Foreign Ministry has given this information in a statement. It has been said that China will freeze the movable and immovable assets related to the top officials of Lockheed Martin. These include Chairman James Donald Taiclet. Along with this, their entry to China will also be banned.
These companies were banned
The companies banned include Lockheed Martin Missile Systems Integration Lab, Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories and Lockheed Martin Ventures.
China has already banned other US companies including Lockheed Martin for selling weapons to Taiwan. Earlier, China had imposed sanctions against Lockheed and Raytheon in the years 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023. China brought a law in the year 2021 to deal with foreign sanctions
