PM Modi Rajasthan Rally: Campaigning for Lok Sabha elections is at its peak. On Sunday, PM Modi held several rallies. During this, he strongly attacked Congress. Prime Minister Modi said that if Congress comes to power at the Centre, it will take people's property and distribute it among Muslims.

PM Modi said this while quoting a statement of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, in which he had reportedly said that the minority community has the 'first right' to the country's resources. Addressing an election rally in Banswara, Rajasthan, Modi said, 'This urban Naxal thinking.... My mothers and sisters, they will not let even your mangalsutra escape. Will go to this extent.

Reference was made to Manmohan Singh's statement

He claimed, 'This Congress manifesto is saying that they will calculate the gold of mothers and sisters, get information about it and then distribute that property and distribute it to those about whom Manmohan Singh's government had said that the property would be owned by them. The first right belongs to Muslims.

'Will distribute among those who have more children'

He said, 'Earlier when his government was in power, he had said that Muslims have the first right on the country's property. This means to whom will this property be collected and distributed? Those who have more children will be distributed among them. He said, 'Will you distribute it to the infiltrators? Will your hard-earned money be given to the infiltrators? Do you approve of this?'

PM Modi was referring to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's controversial “Pehla Haq” comment made in 2006. However, the Congress manifesto highlights the issue of economic inequalities and the party has stressed that it does not call for taking anything from anyone and supports a comprehensive socio-economic caste census.

Congress had also claimed that Rahul Gandhi did not promise 'redistribution' of the country's wealth in Hyderabad on April 7, 2024, and his words were misrepresented.

'They will take account of our sisters' gold'

Modi said, 'It (manifesto) says that if Congress government is formed then everyone's property will be surveyed. The amount of gold our sisters have will be investigated and calculated. There is silver in our tribal families, it will be accounted for. The gold that belongs to the sisters and the other property will be distributed equally to everyone.
