Gudiya and her family are residents of Devmi village of Bankati block, Pankaj's financial condition is very bad. He used to work as a cleaner in a private institution in Delhi, during this time when he came to know about his daughter's illness, he left his job and started treating Gudiya, he has been continuously getting Gudiya treated for almost a year. But when all the money was spent in the treatment, he has come back to the village, tired and leaving everything to fate.

Gudiya's father Pankaj said that he is completely broken in the treatment of his daughter, he did not get the benefit of any government scheme for the treatment of his daughter, both the kidneys of Gudiya have failed, due to which Gudiya is alive on dialysis and after a proper age and time, the doctors will transplant Gudiya's kidney, but before that the AIIMS doctors have made a budget of Rs 8 lakh for the medicine of Gudiya, when Pankaj was not able to arrange such a huge amount, he came back home.
